Newcastle point really came on today with the best waves for quiet a while. Swell picked up from the east and Good clean hollow lefts off the point and alley.Some heavy wipe outs on the inside section with few boards and legropes breaking.

Lefts off the point at 4 to 6ft with some long rides from behind the canoe pool to the middle of the beach. few rights down the beach.

Club members Jackson Brent and Craig Anderson both won heats today with Craig really dominating his heat.
